Wow, some of these gospel labels can be worst then the world. Most of then are ran just like the world. You have some that are just a division of a secular label ran by unsaved people. Then you have indie label that is ran by the ways of the world behind close doors. Its really hard for an artists to promote his music plus another artists, unless he has a great team and deep pockets. If an artists is sign to a label and he wants to leave, let him leave. If he doesnt want to b apart, why make him stay? If they have invested money and you want to make your money back, you are doing it for money and not Christ. We cant sue each other anyways. Also a manager is someone that has music connection and understands the music business, not your friend that done have a clue to what he or she is doing. From talking to artists so call manager, I think that they mess it up for the artist more times then they help. I have has many managers tell me a price for the artists and it was crazy and I pass on them. Then the artists hit me up and say they never told them to charge that much.. Be in prayer about who represents you.. Most managers dont even call back. I am talking about some of the popular gospel labels. How, do I know? I know people. Many people come to me for wisdom and the only thing you can do is pray.. My prayer is that God raise up spirit fill, spirit lead, anointed, knowledgable managers, owners of labels to impact the world with our music.. That God will raise up men to pour millions in those spirit lead labels. So, That we can promote are anointed music on a bigger platform..
