Wow, sure glad Im not living there, even though we are getting close in Europe as well! And I remember a period in my life when I was watching DDR, and didnt understand how their leaders could treat their people that way..... Today I watch the US, whom I would have fought side by side with once, becoming the DDR...... Im ashamed, ashamed how you like me didnt see it coming earlier, ashamed that we let it happen, and repulsed by us letting it continue! Said that, I can see the dilemma of the officer in the situation, but the situation should never have been! With clear instructions, and patience in the middle of the night citizens wouldnt be scared to death and getting close to be shot! No gods, No masters
