Wow, that day was pretty terrible. From morning (and i mean early morning) Ellsa moaned, groaned and cried ALL day long. We went to the hospital but there was no consultant on, so the nurses had a look at her and told us to just stay at home were we where for the weekend. I couldnt even tell you how many seizures she has had today, because If I were to guess it would be probably a very high, depressing number, and when I say high Id be talking 50+... The problem is though I dont know if they were seizures, or stomach cramps from the steroids, or teething or something else... All I do know is that she couldnt sleep at all. The video I uploaded was what she did all day, drift off, jerk and twitch, wake up screaming...repeat. I think the severity of everything is finally starting to hit Leanne and I, not that we have been walking around with our heads in the sand, but at just how difficult living with epilepsy as a parent is going to be. Helpless is the biggest adjective that describes how we feel. The hospital have prescribed a sleeping drug to help give her a bit of piece, which seems to have helped her drift into a deeper sleep, for how long though is the question. All I have ever heard since this whole nightmare began was to Take each day as it comes, so for tonight I will... and I believe tomorrow will hopefully be better...hopefully. I just want to mention a special thanks to the fantastic people that are organising, planning and even already participating in all fundraisers for Ellsa. Its amazing that Leanne and I have support from so many, even people we dont overly know. The kindness shown to us has been completely unexpected, it is amazing that people can care about our struggle when there are many others out there... so again, and as always, thank you. Please continue to do what you have, please share, invite other friends to like our page and help us achieve our goal of getting Ellsa the care she needs. #hope4ellsa
