Wow, that just happened!! What an amazing 27 hours and 50 minutes. I was so impressed with how well this race was organized, the crew, and generosity of the people who volunteered. The people in their cars, rolling down the windows at 2am to encourage. The amazing people keeping us safe from road crossings, they were so nice to everyone. The aid stations late through the night giving me blankets to stop my shivering. The folks at the school houses trying to encourage us to eat, find something that we could get down. Ian who was crewing for another runner offering to help me every time I saw him! The guys getting my car and loading my drop bags for me. If you decide to do a race with no crew or pacer this is the one! Also, the other runners were just amazing and kind. I have never met so many great people. Indiana Trail 100 is awesome and Mike Pfefferkorn is just a great human being. I saw him and talked to him more times than I have ever seen a RD. He treated me like a friend! It was worth the trip from Dallas my friend. Thank you all so very, very, much.
