Wow, that was a long time ago back in July of 1995, when WCYY signed on, or whenever it was. That station changed rock music in Southern / Central Maine permanently. Even The Mountain Of Pure Rock 105TOS had to add more alternative titles at that time so as not to lose cume. As time went on the simulcast became just one station as 93.9 was some to Educational Media, which became K-Love. A station had to go, and that was it. L.A. has no money left so that was why that got spun off. WCYY in Portland is similar to what we have here in Raleigh on 95X.
