Wow...that was one of the most challenging weekends for our intense child. Im not sure if it was the heat or what, but our buttons were definitely pushed. Even through all the battles fought, I remembered to tell him that I still love him and tried to reinforce the good things he was doing instead of dwelling on the negatives. Its not easy to be given the look by people who probably dont know what intense means. Parenting definitely makes one stronger, and helps put life into perspective. Josh Deer
