I mean, they are just as gossipy and back stabbing as any fence chatting gossip mongers in the south, but then strip away the pleasantries and formalities with which we southerners were taught to deal with people and you will have a New Yorker. Theyre rude, lack the patience to be polite and simply are not friendly.
