Wow, things change on a dime around here. After continued consultation amongst quite a few professionals, Im back on for an Interventional Radiology procedure tomorrow. This would be the least invasive resolution, going in through my already existing external bile tube. There was concern my ducts might not be healed enough for it, however current scans show there would be value in attempting it. If they cant get rid of the stones that way, a team of doctors have outlined to me another laparoscopic surgery which would take place next week. I have so much scar tissue, and such an altered anatomy because of previous weight loss surgery, that they have a backup plan to convert it to an open surgery should I need it. But Im hoping this will be resolved quickly and easily with just one or two more nights in the hospital, and then on to the task of RECOVERING instead of just WAITING.
