Wow this hit my heart. I pretty much did the same with my Candi. I made her a pheasant feast and she loved it. As we were on out way to the vet to put her down I looked in the rear view mirror and she was staring at me as to say thank you I love you chris. The song by Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton where I get where Im going was playin and told her this was our song. My son Austin came with me and as we entered the vet office I broke down like a little kid and still do. Toughest day in my life and Ive been through hell and back. Id give up all the rest of my hunting days to just take her out one more time. Story really hit home
