Its something to chew on especially those of us with younger ones because their desire and need to have the best newest shoes, cloths, electronics the list goes on, comes from US.... Our kids watch, listen, understand much more than we think they do, and repeat what Mommy and Daddy do. I will be thinking about this next time we go to buy new KDs for example, or the newest jewelry that the 1st grade girls are wearing. Food clothing and shelter are what God provides, anything above shouldnt be expected rather it should be rejected if not needed. Let your child experience GIVING rather than taking. Its unreal the excitement and joy God has implanted right into our hearts already that just takes making a move to experience being steady. Think about it next time, I will be.....
