Wow, what a Little League World Series! I wouldnt normally get into the series but Brendon Shank, Bethanne Fox and our Philly friends got us into following the Mone phenomenon! And we were hooked watching sport at its purest. Kids being kids playing a game for the sake of the game. No multimillion $$$ contracts. No PHDs. No domestic abuse. Pure fun with honest competition. It was sad to see the Taney Dragons eliminated but they took the loss with grace, dignity and a few honest kidly tears, nice guy coaches giving real meaningful innocent hugs and words of praise and consolation that didnt need to be bleeped. Good game Dragons. Good series. You represented Philly, Taney center and all kids well! Go home and enjoy a great cheese steak wid everything!
