Wow, what a busy patch. Well, we had to take the dogs to the vet today, but first we had to go to the recycle center. We had filled The Beast (giant lifted Ford Excursion) with recyclables, and then the fuel pump went. Lance had to change it in the driveway during this below zero cold snap. But he got it done just in time to get up super early this morning, drive to the recycle place, empty all the cardboard and giftware and stuff we accumulated over the holidays, come home, load the dogs, and go to the vet. Dozers going to start acupuncture treatments for his painful bone spurs in his back legs. Daisy has dropped almost 10 pounds! Niblet lost 1/2 lb. and her tear stains are almost gone thanks to our new miracle cure: a tsp of pure, organic coconut oil mixed with her dog food every meal. Within days the tear stains were vanishing. Everyones well. Except the Doze, with his sore back legs, but we knew that. We have very high hopes for the acupuncture treatments, and if they dont work we have other options to try next. Our vet is setting up our first appt.
