Wow, what a day Cathy had. She was up and dressed by 7 this morning and by the time I got there at nine she had eaten breakfast and gone to the gym for an hour of PT. She stood up today. Then she was doing OT and her mother got to see her sitting up on the side of the bed working on her core strength. Her Mom also got to see her working with the speech therapist. He gave her a test to see how quickly and accurately she could answer a series of questions and then he had her repeat a series of phrases out loud. All of what the therapists did today was so they could evaluate her and assess her progress. Of course she exceeded all expectations today. She showed them and told them she wants to work hard and get better. Nurses were stopping by all day today to say hi and welcome her back. She sure has made a lot of new friends there. She knows that she has a lot of friends out there too. She appreciates all the love and support she has from all of you. Feeling very Blessed again today.
