Wow what a day! The KARE 11 News Food Fight was a huge success with over 1.4 million lbs of food collected for Second Harvest Heartland! #TeamBel crushed it with the help of so many people and organizations with nearly 500,000 lbs of food to with the FOOD FIGHT! I want to thank so many folks I am going to try to remember them all tonight because I couldnt do it without you! My team captains Dana Thiede and Gillian Key and my team at KARE! The amazing team @Kowalskis Markets! Especially Deb Kowalski for making it all happen! The generous donations were great but also the great group of employees from all of the stores stepping up and making it sing! Bobby Jensen who was with me all day along with Steven Mills! Len Busch Roses for making so many people smile with 100 bouquets of flowers-thanks to my friend Jake Ziebarth for always being a great friend! Freshwater Society and Jeanne Prok for coming to sell Weatherguide Calendars and sticking around all day to help us! Some of the amazing corporate sponsors were.....
