Wow, what a day yesterday. Got to the cooking class at 8:30 am (on a SUNDAY and it was 20.5 miles away!), had fun cooking quesadillas for breakfast, then made blue corn batter chile rellenos and flan. Along with my fellow class member who made tamales and biscochitos, we had a wonderful lunch with carne adovada and posole. Andy came for the lunch. Then we had to rush from literally one side of the metro area to the other - from northwest in Corrales to far eastern outlying Edgewood for a photo shoot for Andy to be in Max Woltmans Men of New Mexico calendar. It was FUN! And the place where the photo shoot took place ended up being owned by friends who live about 6 blocks from us but that we never see. Nice synchronicity there! And they even fed us dinner. Then we rushed home and I changed to go co-MC a show at Sidewinders, the show Soldiers, a tribute to our men and women in military. Got home about midnight. That was one of the longest days Ive had in years. And Im worn OUT. Now I get to go get my back stabbed some more and find out when my surgery will be. Oh boy! But ya know? It was a GREAT day.
