Wow what a few days it has been! Enjoyed the Candy Cane Craft Fair at ICS on Sat. afteroon. Had a great dinner with the staff and crew from Brier Island Lodge & Welcome Aboard Whale Watching Tours across the bay at Lavenas Catch Cafe. Shared blessing and well wishes with the community at the Blessing of the fleet service on Sunday night. It was my 1st time attending and it was such a good time I am looking forward to next year already! I was in Yarmouth all day Yesterday for Western Counties Regional Library meetings and stopped into my favorite consigmnet shop Bump-2-Tot Consignment Shop to see the amazing selection of stuff they have. A few days of rest then back to Yarmouth for surgery Nov. 22 to see if they can dig out a useless piece of plastic that is floating around my system. I hope to be better in time for Dumping Day! For those not aware. This is the day the lobster boats set out to start the season. The community here comes together by the passage point and cheers and hollers and celebrates as a parade of boats go by. It is a very early and cold morning but being there instills such a great feeling of pride! Sparklers and glows stick make the event so much fun!
