Wow, what a perfect storm. Three weeks ago I closed up my house up north to concentrate on Brickfete. In that short time a water value upstairs started a slow but steady drip, leaking water down into the kitchen ceiling below. Two sheets of the kitchen drywall cracked under pressure and collapsed onto the stove, hitting the stove dial just hard enough to result in the stove burner being turned on. When we arrived at the house today, that soaken wet and fallen ceiling drywall was just dry enough to start to smoulder on the hot element. Few hours later and Im positive the house would have been in full flames. Funny thing was, I was trying to convince my boys to not go this weekend and wait until next weekend to start the work back up.
