Wow what a weekend! First of all I have to thank the people that got us here, Marcie Campbell, George Blacker, K&N Engineering, Lucas Oil Products, Van Dyne Racing Engines, Goodwine Glass, Mettec Titanium Fasteners, Goodwine Glass, Advanced Racing Suspension, Eibach Springs, JE pistons, MPD Racing, West Evans Performance, Western Performance, the entire Moose Racing #92 sprint car crew, and my former JSR teammate JJ Ercse and his wife Lisa! We couldnt have done it without you all! Huge thanks to my Wife and mom for their support, and my Dad for the amount of work that he puts into this program I am so thankful and blessed! The weekend started off pretty good, we struggled in qualifying both nights, Saturdays heat race ended with us taking the win over Ronnie Gardner and Shane Goldbic. We started 11th in the main and got up to 6th in the first 10 laps but we lost a mag and that ended the night. We got the mag fixed for Sunday, qualified poorly again, and lost a mag again in the heat race. Things were looking rough but we got the mag fixed with about 10 minutes to spare for the main event, started 11th and battled up to 4th place!! It was so awesome being up there with the Keith Kunz toyotas. Even though we couldnt pass them, we were still racing with them and running with them and that feels really good! We had that little Van Dyne Chevy stretching its legs as far as it could and things worked out. So happy with our weekend here in Beautiful Calistoga!
