Wow what a weekend! Ive laughed, cried, been overjoyed as well as sad; overall just thankful, more appreciative and content. (No, for the smart ones out there, I havent gone off the deep end! lol) Its just been an emotional weekend for me as I realize more and more how important every little thing in life is! God has one body, and we all are a part of that body. When one hurts, we hurt (whether we know them or not - they are our family). When one rejoices, we rejoice. Prayed all weekend (& hope you did too) for the Rutledge family, as well as for Caleb and Krissa. My cousin had passed as well at the end of last week. I got to see one of my best friends I hadnt seen in a while! Today was informed of someone elses dad passing. Ronald made it back safely from Jamaica (and was tremendously impacted by his trip)! Today was Tims birthday and Im so thankful for him and his beautiful family!!! Had the opportunity to hang out with some amazing kids today! Blessed to be a part of lives that are the next generation! My Chrissy finally has a home (so now I can rest on Saturdays instead of fighting the urge to run to the adopt a thons)!! AND the beginning of this week I will be welcoming the birth of my newest niece (my baby brothers first child)!! Toni has already written 13,000 words of her latest novel for novel writing month (on top of practicing the bass & learning guitar), Casey has learned to play the piano (as well as still dancing), and Sarah has been cooking, singing (more) and studying thermodynamics (by choice)! So, to some people this will look like a lot of rambling! To me - its proof that God places you at certain places, at certain times with certain people (in person, over the internet, or just in your heart) to be a part of each others lives. To pray for and with each other. To encourage each other. To rejoice with each other. To celebrate with each other. This week lets not take each other or our circumstances for granted so much! My heart is full! God will not ever leave us nor forsake us. He is our Comforter, our Peace, our Great Physician, our Father, our Protector & Provider, our Everything! God IS LOVE!!
