Wow, what a weekend. The only way it could have been better is those who had to cancel at the last minute would have made it. And for those that somehow slipped through the cracks, we will work to find you again in 5 years. The best way for that to happen is for everyone to pitch in and make sure that those who remain in your close contact circle get your forwarded info. Lets recap the fun, Friday night at Margaret and Steve Dahms heard great music, eat fabulous food and enjoy the company of 60 to 70 classmates and spouses or friends. We got to see Phill Maybe and David Stephens for the first time in a long time. Sat mornings BUHS tour brought back memories and otherwise amaze all with the new Gym, Cafeteria, Wrestling, weight rooms. About 50 of us got the VIP treatment. Thank you Simon Canalez and Tony Leon for showing us around. Sat night at the Stockmens had the usual outstanding dinner and another live band. Mrs Janet Presley, Jacki Keltz, Denny Croughan, and Xen Jones took their bows from a appreciative class and audience of approx 120, for their influence in our lives. We took a 30 minute trip down memory lane watching a video/ PowerPoint to music from our old 8 tracks. That video will replace the mini annual that we canceled. Some reserved, but for those of you who did not please let us know if you want one. $20 will take you there. Sunday morning at Marios Hacienda Snack Bar was a perfect ending to a almost perfect weekend. 45 of us were joined by Coach Gabby Escalera for a bowl of Menudo and shared stories on Wrestling and Drivers Ed. Thanks Gabby for being with us on your familys weekend celebration of your Mothers life. Our very best to you. Thank you all for being my classmate and friend. No better class from BUHS than our group from 1974. To all traveling home, be safe. Want to see you again in 5 years.
