Wow, what a weekend! We arrived Friday to a delicious dinner of bacon wrapped asparagus, shrimp and grits and blue cheese brussel sprouts. Dessert was homemade key lime pie with REAL whipped cream! We ended the evening with a late evening walk to our Nations Capitol....it was beautiful! Saturday morning we ventured to the oldest restaurant in the DC area. Old Ebbitt Grill, it was awesome. From there we headed to Annapolis MD for a day of crabbing and shopping! What a beautiful city! We had a fresh seafood dinner at a restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay. We headed home for an amazing USC game!!!!! Yeah Gamecocks!!!!! Sunday morning was easy, then we headed to the White House for the garden tour, Mom loved this!! We so enjoyed church with the kids and came home for some soup and and fun with Kristy and Johns sweet friends! What a wonderful weekend you planned for us Kristy and John!!! Cant wait for the holidays!! Thanks again
