Wow, what a year 2014 has been for my music. From playing in Maputo for the first time to 2000 people, then going back later in the year to play for 8000 of you guys. Being given the chance to play Oppikoppi Festival Odyssey and listening to your screams and cheers when I got the chance to do what I do in front of possibly the best crowd of my career so far. TouchBass on a rooftop in Cape Town to hands down the most energetic and passionate people I’ve played to outside of Joburg. Being given the chance to take over from great artists like Black Coffee, Justin Martin Music Page, Dale Howard, Dashdot, German Brigante, and so many more. Not to mention getting the chance to remix GOLDFISH, reaching 2nd spot on the 5fm Top 40, and signing a record to Dirtybird to sit alongside my musical heroes. What an amazing year, and there is already some awesome stuff lined up for early 2015 including some big releases on some great labels and a tour through Brazil. When I get the chance to play my music out to you - and I look up and see all your smiling faces looking back at me with your hands in the air - you make all of this so worth it. There are way too many people to thank for all of this and I could never fit you all in, but there is one person that absolutely deserves a mention. My beautiful girlfriend Natasha Gladwin, for being so understanding and making an effort to consistently support me through all of the crazy long nights, short weekends, disco naps and waffling on about record labels. I love you so much and appreciate everything you do. So go and have a listen to my new single on dirtybird and lets bring in 2015 the right way!!
