Wow what an amazing few days. 1) The chairman of one of the top 10 biggest global law firm agreed today to speak for Generation Success at Breaking Barriers Black History Month Special and on 2 other dates 2) Saw pictures of the amazing Vanessa Vallely office opening today of the We Are They City office and felt inspired and also sending #proud to say I know her #amazing and #inspiration . #SadIWasNotThere 3) We have just got an endorsement from city hall “I am pleased to endorse Gen Success Breaking Barriers Black History Month event. Getting successful professionals to share their knowledge, experience and advice is a great way to encourage more ethnic minority and women to achieve their career aspirations.” - Munira Mirza, Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture, Greater London Authority. 4) My team did an amazing job yesterday making sure that our event went smoothly. A massive thank you to Laura Morrison for speaking and giving up her time for us. #MyHero :-) 5) My charity boat racing team came 2nd overall in the 2day charity boating regatta and our efforts helped to raise over £63,000 for O2 Think Big. They are an organisation who continue to provide a platform for so many young people to make a difference.
