Wow what can I say the last 3 day have been one hell of a ride. I want to thank my mom and my wife Carla Russell for being by my side through it all. I also want to thank Rodney and Steve for encouraging me to go get checked out. Everything line up perfectly on Saturday from Rodney, Steve and Billy the marshall at the golf course telling me to get checked out to the personnel at the club house at Ridgeview Ranch Golf course for calling 911. From there I was taken to Centenial Medical Center to run tests. EKG looked slightly abnormal. They ran blood tests and they said I the results indicated I suffered a heart attack. Thats when I was rushed to the cath lab and they found a total 100% blockage in my LAD artery also known as the widow maker causing the heart attack. Dr Kosuri performed an intervention putting in 2 stints that opened the artery and restored blood flow to the left side of my heart. A couple hours more and I wouldnt be here writing this right now. I am in still in utter shock but have medicine and lifestyle changes that will help me hopefully not have this again. Thanks to all of you for the prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery. There is also a special thank you to Bruce and Gloria Stevenson who watched the kids while I recovered and helped Sharon and Valerie hold a planned birthday party for our son while me and Carla were at the hospital. This is been an eye opening experience and I am happy things turned out this way and not what it could of been.
