Wow, what to say with respect to my 40th birthday and all the wonderful, thoughtful birthday wishes (in person, via Facebook, telephone, or good old fashion in person). I have always lived and truly believed that you are only as good as those that you surround yourself with in life (and share your life) and in this regard I have been incredibly blessed. Each and everyone who has graced my life and shared experiences with (no matter how short, long, small, or large) has had a huge impact on the quality of my life. Its been a fantastic ride and tremendously rewarding.....and it is only getting better (okay except for my bum back and returning to marathon running but that will come - patience Yeo). As great as the first 40 have been....the next 40 will be an even bigger, better ride! Looking forward to everyone continuing to share in each others life experiences. In thanking everyone and reflecting on all my blessings on this milestone birthday, Eddie Vedder said it best - its not a bad time to be me.
