Wow, why would I ever worry about anything if I could just remember these promises that God has given us: Psalm 37:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:23-24 King James Version (KJV) 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. Psalm 66:19-20 King James Version (KJV) 19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. Philippians 4:6-7 King James Version (KJV) 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Deuteronomy 31:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. I have always held on to the scripture telling us to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will direct our path. But He has so much more in store for us when we learn to trust Him and look to Him. Brenda and I have to look to Him each and every day now more than at any other time in our lives. And He has rewarded us so much that at times, we are living some of the most blessed times of our lives, even more than at my best level of employment. God is good and His promises are Sure and Amen.
