The nineteen-year-old Portuguese Vasco Ribeiro, has won yesterday in Ericeira, the Allianz ASP World Tour Surfing Junior Championships. This is the first time that a Portuguese surfer has ever won a World Junior Title and to top it off, he pulled it off in front of his home crowd ;) Collecting a couple 9-point rides, Ribeiro’s performance peaked in the final.
