Wow yes it is Friday finally. I say this with great excitement because we get all next week off for thanksgiving break. Which means we have 114 days of school left of the school year. A big big big thank you to Marianne McFadden who so graciously made no bake cookies for me and I do mean they were good. Thank you Marianne. Your the bestest cookie maker. Even Mrs Burks and Peggy received some so I didnt have to share which made them all the better. Lol. I want to mention that I work with some of the best people in the school system and I know this to be true because not only do they prove it daily by making me feel appreciated, they make the children their top priority. I am just going to name a few but all are great to work with, Mrs Martin, who daily strives to make sure the kids read, Mrs Honeycutt, Mr Wolfe, Mrs Boukemis who all three go above and beyond to make a difference in so many of our childrens lives, Mrs Bragg, Mrs. Cline, Mrs. Brehm and of course captain morale Mrs. Chuby who provide such great experiences for not only their children but their parents also. Mrs. Messich, Mrs. Barnes Mrs . Forbes, Mrs. Moore who really devote their time and effort to our third graders. Our first grade teachers Mrs Moats, Mrs Elkins, Mrs Richie, and Mrs. Ruscello who give great directions for their classes, and our preschooler teachers Mrs. Ribas, Mrs.Glowackey, Mrs. Hinkle and surely not least, Mrs. Brosky who make the first year of school an exciting time. Please do not take offense if I didnt mention you by name just know that I am so glad to be a part of each and every one of your lives and appreciate all that you do for the children at our school. Mr. Salisbury, Mr McIe, Mrs. Bolyard for giving the children the arts and entertainment aspect of education, Mrs Davis for her computer skills, the fourth grade team including Mrs Robinson, Mrs. DeLawder, Mrs Slavey, Mrs Cox you all do great jobs teaching the fourth graders, and certainly the fifth grade teachers who prepare the kids for the sixth grade, Mrs Gore, Mrs Kelly, and Mrs Derby. Thank you for all you do. The cooks and other custodians that go above making great meals and for cleaning our buildings. The secretaries and also the administration Mrs. McCarty, Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Burks, Mrs. Petite. Also our reading helpers Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Lenhart, Mrs McBee, and Mrs Cosner the kids really appreciate your efforts teaching them. All of you aides, paraproffessionals are the best. Mrs Woods, and any one I might have forgotten I am THANKFUL for all you do for our children, oops I almost forgot the second grade team Mrs Culpepper, Mrs. Pisegna, Mrs. Lillard, and Mrs. Fetsko you do an outstanding job for the children. Sorry number one fan.I almost forgot the morning adventure crew, ms. Cheri, ms Ashley., and Mrs. C. This is just a small portion of what I am thankful for this holiday of Thanksgiving. You are all great people, role models, and teachers of some sort in our childrens lives. Thanks for all you do. I am so thankful for my family, my wife, children, grandchildren, my family and friends both near and afar. For each day I am given another day on this earth. Sorry so long, I just want every one to be thankful this thanksgiving holiday. There is only 114 days left this school year, for which I am thankful for also. Lol. Please keep, the Wood family in your prayers, the Friends family and each and every family that are affiliated with our great community. May the light of our Lord shine through in everything you do today and everyday. God bless each of you and may you all have a fun filled week off and a very Happy Thanksgiving holiday. Also thanks for all the prayers this week when I was ill, thanks to Mrs Lori Tennant and Mrs Darcy Nicholson for filling in for me on Wednesday and Thursday for me while I was sick.
