Writer Soumitra Dev said that both the ruling and opposition political camps in Bangladesh were busy in protecting their stake instead of upholding the rights of the people. None of the ruling or opposition parties was seen in movement for saving country’s resources but they went on tough programme against evacuation of one leader from her government allocated house and cancellation of allocation of Gana Bhaban to the other leader, he said. He said only logical opposing political opinion should be accommodated. ‘It is not acceptable when someone opposes secularism in the name of opposition opinion,’ he added.
