Writer, director, and leading actor of "Life is Beautiful," Roberto Benigni, understands young children. In this story he, his wife, and their young son were taken to a Nazi concentration camp from their home in Italy. "Guido" helps his little boy cope by creating a playful game out of horrific circumstances. He used the game to keep delight, joy and hope alive while the atrocities raged around them. In this extreme contrast we can compare on some level how we can raise young children in the world today, guiding them closer to God and further from evil.
