Writing Prophetically Most of you are familiar with how the Holy Spirit inspires us to prophesy or pray in tongues. We initiate the process by opening our mouth to speak and as we do, we receive Gods inspiration to speak - either in a language of heaven or as a propetic word for someone. Are you aware that He can do the same thing when we write? Prophetic writing involves essentially the same process. When I sit down to write, I expect the Holy Spirit to give me thought impressions that reveal His heart. Just as with tongues or prophecy - by faith I expect Him to fill up my paper. The main difference between speaking prophecy and writing prophetically is that instead of declaring what you hear, you write it down. When writing this way Ive never had a case of writers block. When I sit down with the expectation of writing what He reveals, He always gives me something to write about. If you havent tried writing prophetically, give it a try and let me know what happens.
