Writing is a very strange process. For me it is about stripping thoughts and ideas to their naked individuality and pinning them to the page. Its not about dressing ideas up but paring them down to their barest essentials. Its rather like peeling an orange, getting rid of the skin and pith, until the juiciest essence is revealed on which my own taste buds can delight. Writing, like fruit, isnt something that is satisfied by just one piece, it leaves me with the taste to do it again, and again, because the taste for it never diminishes. Even the smell of an orange taunts me to peel one for myself, to savour its essence.
