Written when my mum died for her funeral - still feel the same - and remember her as the most beautiful woman Ive ever met! How We Remember Mum. My mum was a wonderful Mother, Daughter, Sister & Wife, Always putting others before herself. She was always so much fun & game for a laugh, often the life and soul of any party or family occasion with a distinctive and infectious laugh. She always put on a good party or gathering, whether for her many friends, family or our birthday parties making a huge effort to ensure everybody had the best time. She was also extremely hard working. When I think of my mum from when we were little there was barley a moment when she wasnt on the go. When Mum wasnt working as a Nurse where she was loved by fellow colleagues and patients alike she was busy making sure we had a lovely home. I will always remember coming home from school to an immaculate house and a nice dinner waiting for us, like individual cottage pies, with notes attached like 3 1/2 mins in the microwave love mam x this would all be done first thing in the morning before mum started a busy shift at the hospital! I dont know where she found the time to be such a great nurse, mother and home-maker, all whilst keeping her hair, make up and outfits immaculate. She always took such pride in her appearance, always making sure she and we all looked our best. I remember always feeling proud when I was little that we had the prettiest mum at the school gates picking us up on her push bike & that is how we will continue to remember her. Busy, fun, happy, & Beautiful Mum x Victoria Eastmond
