Wrong question, the writer should have questioned Gen. Singhas - TopicsExpress

Wrong question, the writer should have questioned Gen. Singhas sanity or is he supporting ISIS? 40 Filipino peacekeepers surrounded by 500 rebel Al Qaeda affiliate Al Nusra Front rebels stood their ground exchanged fire for 7 hours knowing there is no reinforcement decided to escape, and thats supposed to be an act of cowardice and abandoning their post? Sorry but the Filipino soldiers are there as peacekeepers and not to be used and exploited by one insane general as pawns. He already made the wrong decision by ordering the Fijians to surrender thereby taken hostage and he thinks he can correct his bungling error by another wrong decision of offering 40 more Filipino hostages? It is not fair to question the Filipino soldiers bravery and if the writer and the general insist on it, then why is Singhas bravery not questioned when he has not offered himself to replace the 45 Fijians? After all, he gave the orders to the Fijians and had the Filipinos been gullible enough would have suffered an uncertain fate with the likelihood of getting beheaded. The Fijians has been duped and used as a canon fodder by this general and it is just fair if the writer ask if Singha deserves to be tried in a court martial or not?
