Wrote this a long time back on one of my favourite childhood stories. The moral of this story has stuck for a long time now - Build things that last rather than just building for the sake of it. When the three little pigs went out one night The croquet ball went out of their sight And what was more fearful then, They didn’t not know it then, A wolf was waiting for their fright When the three little pigs went out one night… The wolf shook their playground dead, He danced and pranced, showing off dread It was a picture they saw it then, The night became more fearful then, The wolf was stalking there alright, When the three little pigs went out one night.. The youngest of them all went all gay Built a monument, a house of hay! But he wasn’t too conscious then, the wolf breathed fire on men, The haystack cottage turned ash that sight, When the three little pigs went out one night.. But smarter was the elder though Engineering mud, just watch him go! But he wasn’t too sure of his success, The wolf created out such a mess… The mud mound went far from tight! When the three little pigs went out one night.. The eldest one fell left alone, So he built his shelter out of stone, The wolf blew and blew out his breath.. The eldest swine was scared of his death. But the stony lobby proved its might, When the three little pigs went out one night… And now the wolf is back history, To youngest it remains mystery, If the eldest had so much wit, Why the pig didn’t just admit? Carols they sang of that story with delight… When the three little pigs went out one night..
