Wrote this a month back in a couple hours. Let me know if you like it. Should we stand idly by, watching widely with both eyes closed, still hearing about things we oppose? On this land we share. This organic planet we bear, dont take care of, should love, but fear. Lies, and corruption shoved down our throats roaming freely, foaming mouth-to-mouth, North to South, East to West, put them to rest. This world we refer to as Earth, since birth. Legalization of reefer, raising worth. Rapists preying on victims, its obscene. Bullying creating unstable teens, who take their own lives. Racism that causes death by knives over heritage. Gays that cant experience marriage. Fetuses aborted with no say, or rebirth. Women underpaid, feeling inferior with lower self-worth. School shootings with no safety, or security. Equality of people that is far from equal. Should we continue to keep our eyes closed? We need to open our eyes, and see. Dont just talk about peace, and prosperity. Cease the chitter chatter, for the better. Ditch the letters, and complaints. They tether us. They dont listen to us. Be aware of whats happening now. How? Make an inference. Charity begins at home, the place we roam. For instance, Changes starts with you, and me, going the extra mile to make the difference.
