Wt bleep anyone else see this Im not sure I think this Is the best course of action for our kids. The Newfound Area School Board recently made a motion to set aside a portion of the next scheduled School Board meeting for the purpose of considering two motions and to hear public comment on them. The two motions are: 1. To close the Newfound Memorial Middle School (NMMS) for the 2015-2016 school year moving 6th grade to each of the local elementary schools and the 7th and 8th grade to the high school. 2. To begin the study of the property (NMMS) for permanent closure or redevelopment. The Newfound Area School Boards next meeting will be held on Monday, September 8th. The meeting begins at 6:30 and is held at Newfound Regional High School.
