Wyatt Tuesday update after rounds... We have another 24 minimum in ICU. Need to get better control over pain and better respiration. His lungs were more cloudy today. We still need to get more fluid off his lungs. He is going to have to work today. Ot/pt will come and get Wyatt out of bed into a chair a couple of times. He is pretty weak today. He is allowed drinks including sprite and Gatorade which makes him supper happy. He likes his Respiratory therapist so is motivated to work for her. Hard news for the day (for me.... Wyatt doesnt know yet) We will likely be in the step-down room until maybe Monday and then maybe 2 weeks here doing therapy. Please pray for Kathi as she helps Wyatt to process that he is most likely going to be there a few more weeks. Wyatt has Aspergers so this wont be an easy task.
