Wylie resident needs help to re home Honey.. Here are 2 pictures of Honey. From Honeys Mom.... She is 1 year and 2 months old. We took her in last year - she was found dumped on some land in Lavon as a puppy. She is good with small children (I have 4 kids), other dogs (I have another dog that she sleeps with in the crate and plays with all day), and she is house and crate broken. She had shots in January so will need her annual shots next month. She is not fixed. Honey can be scared of harsh tone and prefers to come to you rather than you approach her (I think she was chased and maybe beaten as a puppy). But when she trusts you she will happily play with you and sit, go to her bed etc. She is a sweet dog and we are sad to see her go but she deserves a good life and will make a great family dog. Please contact the shelter at 972-442-5268 so we can give Honeys family your number. They are needing your help. Honey is not at the shelter. She is here in Wylie and needs a new home.
