X Games. My christmas. Happens 2x a year. Best action sports stars all come together from around the world and have a blast. This was the first year it was in Austin TX. I missed LA, but this seemed like a great move. Great weather, great crowds.....scenery looked dope (capital building behind the vert ramp). I missed Staples Center, but they made up for it. Pros: -Skate street had a great layout, and great athletes -BMX vert...this was the most intense and exciting Ive seen it since 2010 -Races...between rally car and trucks the races were amazing -Women skate street....most talented Ive seen yet...and gorgeous girls too -X-gamers broadcaster was waaaay less awkward then in Winter X Games -Excellent logo designing with the Austin Flag -THE 14 YEAR OLD WITH THE 900 -Tony Hawks demo on thursday night proving hes still got it -Excellent commentators...especially tony hawk lol -Love how they had several famous artists and bands to do shows between events and stuff Cons: -Unfortunately, band time of year. I understand that its because of the world cup, but a lot of fans were lost in attendance due to school and whatnot -WHERE WAS Shaun White? Dont be a bum because you didnt medal in the olympics -They need to do a veteran competition....like, so that all the old guys can have a friendly without straining to hard against the newer and younger guys. With Andy Mac, Muska, Campell, Vallely, all those classic dudes from THPS2 -WHERES Danny Way? Did he die or something? He created the mega ramp and its like he disappeared -Wheres Sal Masekela? Like, i Know hes doing red bull events, but hes mr x games. Oh well -No staples center, but eh -Not enough womens events -No moto x freestyle, which, like, brought x-games to the limelight because of Travis Pastrana -Bring x-center back. Last year was the first year without it. X-center was like sports center, except for strictly x-games. It came on for an hour every night after the night was over. Great way to catch up if you missed anything -Random stunts need to be brought back. Every now and then an athlete would do something nuts for the frick of it, but they stopped -NO MOTO X BEST TRICK? OR SKATE VERT BEST TRICK? its been 4 years since, bring it back! -bring back roller blading and surfing. not even a question -Have a top 10 of the year......they didnt do it ever since Sal left....GAY -maybe have the events on Netflix. Dew tour does it.... Overall, I love x-games. Theyre still great. But, Winter won for the year.
