X-RAYING THE GIANT IN SEN. DR. AHMADU ALI(DG, PDP PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN, 2015 AND CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI(DG, APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN,2015)........ Ahmadu Ali political experience began in the palace of Ata Igala as one of 22 boys that were picked for Igala Native Authoritys scholarship scheme. While in the palace he saw how Ameh Oboni the great rule his subjects with wisdom. He studied Medicine at UI and was enlisted into Nigeria Army in 1963. He became first Director of NYSC in 1973. In 1975, he was appointed Federal Commissioner of Education. His tenure came with quite a number good of policies like the establishment of Unity Schools, JAMB, NUC,FCEs, etc. One policy that earned him the popular ALI MUST GO was removal of food subsidy(student were made to pay 50 kobo) and that led to a violent protest in which many students were killed by Armed forces. Despite the protest, Ali was not removed and he later went back to his medical practice at the famous Military Hospital, Kaduna. In 1979,Ali retired from the military and contested for senate in which he won. He was a 3 time Senator, led Kogi delegation to 1995 Constitutional conference. He was DG/SA South - South Health Delivery programme, Board Chairman-UNN Teaching Hosp. 1999 - 2003,North Central Coordinator Obj/Atiku re-election Campaign, 2002, Board Chairman- PPPRA 2007 - 2011, PDP Chairman - 2005, etc................ROTIMI AMAECHI, grew in Diobu PH. BA, English.. Experience: Popular Mile 1 park PH(rumour), Pamo Clinics-PH(PRO), Sec.NRC Ikwere LG-1992,Sec. DPN Ikwere LG caretaker committee-1996, PA to the Dep.Gov.Rivers-1991-92, Board RisonPalm, Speaker-RHOS-1999-2007, Governor 2007 till date.......Can Amaechi withstand the public/political experience of ALI(most experienced politician of our time) to deliver?
