Snoops music career began in 1992 when he was discovered by Dr. Dre. He collaborated with Dre on Dres solo debut The Chronic. His debut album, Doggystyle, released in 1993, debuted at Number-One. It became certified four-time platinum in 1994 and spawned the hit singles, including Whats My Name and Gin and Juice. His second album, Tha Doggfather, released in 1996 also debuted at Number-One and was certified double platinum in 1997. After leaving Death Row, Snoop signed with No Limit Records, where he recorded his next three albums. Snoops complete discography has a total of 12 studio albums. His latest, Reincarnated, is a reggae album he released after his 2012 trip to Jamaica. During this time, he announced his conversion to the Rastafari movement and a new alias, Snoop Lion. The California legend is working on new studio album under his rap moniker, Snoop Dogg.
