XM-7 Peacemaker Tactical Missile Theoretical Maximum damage per missile per attack, and how the damage is really calculated: I admit, I overlooked this. The XM-7 Tactical Missile deals damage on a 1:1 per unit stack. Whats a unit stack? If you have 23 sappers, thats 1 unit stack. If you have 23 sappers, 3 light snipers and a firedrake, thats 3 individual unit stacks. Someone asked before, how come I lost way more sappers than I did the rest of my units, heres why: * Each missile casts 12,600 Base OP in the battle for the attacker. * Since the missile is vs all classes, the defender uses all 4 stats equally, thus we use the average DP method of the units stats. A Creighton, for example, (without any modifiers) is 400 DP. A Firedrake is 587.5 DP. *Each missile attack report is actually comprised of 1 battle calculation for each unit stack present. *There can be a maximum of 69 unit stacks in a fight. (68 playable units, and advanced security aka turrets) - so a base full of all units would be the calculated 69 times, with each stack having its own loss %. What does the defender lose? 1) OP + Unit Stack AVG DP total = Battlefield Total 2) OP DIVIDED BY Battlefield Total = Defender Loss % 3) Defender Loss % MULTIPLIED BY Unit Stack total AVG DP This is repeated for each unit stack present. So previously thought the missile only did 12,600 OP and fizzled out, meaning you can simply leave 1,260,000 DP on the base and the missile would only do 1% damage. This has been proven inaccurate. Note: The missile can be augmented by up to 5% OP if the user has Executive Status L10 activated at the time of launch. This puts the theoretical maximum 1 rocket could do in 1 strike should be 241,103.52 worth of defender total AVG DP lost, across all 69 unit stacks and turrets. This new realization gives the missile more credit than it was originally getting. Used correctly, against an unaware defender, could do some real damage. Note: the above scenario was 1 Missile fired at a base, attacker has L10 executive status active at launch, defender has exactly 8864.1 DP worth of each unit possible in the game (warning: exceeds actual game limit thresholds for certain units, like mercenary, syndicate assault units) at the time of impact, defender would lose 40.1% of all unit stacks, or 241.103.52 total average DP once all the dead is counted.
