K-2 Opossum 3-4 y.o., 51 lb. male, HW- Intake: 4/21/14 #72677 Major goofball who is easily amused. Opossum is super happy and doesnt seem to know a stranger. His tail didnt stop wagging his entire SAFER. Opossum loves to be with people. He was intense and got very worked up when meeting another dog. He will need time to decompress and reevaluated before he should be around other dogs. Look: #1 allowed head to be held, eyes averted Sensitivity: #2 stood still, accepted touch, body a bit stiff, tail low Tag: #1 followed at end of leash, body low, a bit fearful Squeeze: #1 no response Food: #2 followed the dish with tail down, body loose, lifted head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek Toy: #1 kept a firm grip, body loose and wiggly Rawhide: #1 no interest Dog to dog: #3 approached female dog by rushing in with his tail high, stiff body, head tall, and ears erect, sniffed other dog and air snapped at her neck
