Xfinity/Comcast has some real issues. Help for the elderly and infirmed is NOT a priority for this company!!! My land line service is out along with other services and after almost an hour trying to NOT BE CUT OFF (this happened as I was on hold for a rep to check our lines and I had to start all over and got a different rep) and using a cell phone last night , I was told that the earliest I can expect service to restore this potentially life saving landline is Saturday!!, My 92 year old mother cannot walk , cannot manipulate a cell phone , cannot use "lifeline" without phone access, and needs this line for emergency access to 911 etc. I cannot believe I was told that there is "NO EMERGENCY SERVICE AVAILABLE "and "NO POLICY FOR ASSISTANCE OF THE ELDERLY OR HOMEBOUND CUSTOMERS" I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor and was told "they cannot help me anyway". This is a very poor customer service policy!!!
