Xtend Barre Ponsonby is one of the most amazing yet intense workouts that i have ever tried. You work up a sweat and it seriously works the whole body. I have just started going along with my gorgeous friend Teuila Blakely who swear by it and i am hooked. I am going to try and do 2x a week of these classes while i am training to help with flexibility and toning. The Xtend Barre Workout is a fast-paced, 55-minute full body immersion that fuses dance, Pilates and sculpting exercises at the ballet barre to give you a chiseled body – and fast! By using a series of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches, the Xtend system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally challenged. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch the body from top to bottom, from inside out. The end result is a long and lean physique… without added bulk.
