Development Team Lead We are seeking a Development Team Lead with broad technical knowledge to manage a team of java developers whilst maintaining a hands-on technical role for a superb technology focussed client. This role will require you to lead the team, provide support and maintenance of applications and contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle through design, programming and implementation. Required Skills: · Excellent knowledge of Java SE and EE web components with a desire to maintain a hands-on role (around 50% of role) · Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken · Experience of team leadership/management, preferably within an Agile/Scrum environment · Broad knowledge of relevant web technologies; Hibernate, Spring, Velocity, Ajax, JQuery · Knowledge of database technologies; #SQL or #MySQL · Experience of interacting with customers Desirable skills: · Strong technical writing / documentation skills · Knowledge of Version Control and Continuous Integration · Ability to adapt to constantly evolving priorities; ability to multi-task in a time sensitive environment Senior Java Developer (#Spring/#Hibernate/#Velocity/#AJAX) Another requirement for a Senior Java Developer, to join our application development and integration team. This role will be instrumental in driving forward the development of solutions for customers based in the UK, using leading open source tools including Spring 3, #Spring #MVC, #Hibernate/#JPA, #JBoss/#tomcat etc. Required skills: · Exceptional core Java skills using at least Java 1.6, and solid knowledge of design patterns · Excellent knowledge of Spring Framework (3 and above) and a clear understanding of dependency injection · Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA and Object-relational mapping, including performance considerations · Front end development experience using Velocity/HTML 5/AJAX and #JQuery · Demonstrable experience working with databases, data modelling, and SQL (any type) · Demonstrable experience of Web Application development using MVC patterns (preferably Spring) · Enthusiasm for test driven development using open source frameworks Desirable skills: · Experience of working in an Agile environment · Previous experience of working on out sourced projects · Knowledge of #JIRA · MySQL Android Developer Pushing the boundaries of current mobile platforms, this role requires you to perform technological feats. You will be presented with exciting challenges in native or mobile application development. As an Android Developer, you will develop applications primarily in Java and using the Android SDK for Google Glass or similar Smart Eyewear devices.
