A very good clean example of this model. Loved by car enthusiasts and highly rated, clearly one of the best engines in its class and a real icon. These cars will still be going after a nuclear war. Known faults - as a heads up of for the MOT. Theres a possible ECU problem, in cold conditions the turbo sometimes doesnt kick in for a couple of mins after start up (still drives tho) - the replacement ECU kit is around £30 from ebay. The tires are all good apart from rear offside that has a very slow puncture (takes about 10 days to run flat). The body work is in great condition considering its age and theres just a bit of rust showing through here and there on the wheel arches. Theres also very slight wheel wobble - but I think thats just balancing, it doesnt effect driving and maybe a result of letting the tire run nearly flat once. Other than that, I think it should be a straight forward MOT. Also - one of the local celebrities round here stole the mirror glass from the passenger side - (£4-5 from ebay). Its Very Cheap and Very Economical to run with cheap insurance. Lots of past service history. Starts and drives first time - plenty of life in her (and nippy too for a diesel). Grab yourself a bargain.
