YEARS TO NEGOTIATE? Note the misleading bottom paragraph in this company flyer, then consider the following. Unions dont drag out negotiations - corporations do! The IAM is committed to quickly negotiating a reasonable, written, binding contract with the pay and benefits Flight Attendants deserve. A company that feels you deserve LESS than your counterparts at other airlines may choose to try to stall negotiations. So I guess much of negotiations depend on how much the nowayers trust a company they claim has our best interests at heart. If the company really cares about Flight Attendants, they will expeditiously approve a contract, JUST LIKE THEY DID FOR THE PILOTS! You can rest assured that the IAM will not delay a contract that Flight Attendants are deserving of! The company has a choice as to whether or not THEY want to be fair and reasonable.
