YEON AH NIM: From the age of seventeen, when the Holy Wedding took place, True Mother had stayed by True Father’s side every moment for the next fifty-three years. Who can fathom how she must have felt when True Father went to the spirit world? Thinking back, I am sure True Mother wanted to glorify further True Father’s accomplishments and made up her mind to take responsibility for Foundation Day, so that the path True Father had forged for the sake of the world and humankind would not have been in vain. True Mother later revealed that she was unable to sleep at that time, no matter how hard she tried. I witnessed this with my own eyes. But True Mother could not share this with us out of concern that the members would be worried. I feel I can share this with you now, but True Mother never actually expressed in words what was in her heart at that time. I believe it was because she was deeply contemplating the next steps toward Foundation Day, determined to lead and guide the members to fulfill the providence for Heavenly Parent and True Father. On Foundation Day, True Mother offered a prayer of tears. Listening to her prayer, although short, I felt that there indeed were many inexpressible circumstances behind each word she said. As time passes, I feel even more that each word True Mother speaks comes from her life of having been with True Father. When True Mother spoke of Vision 2020, I wondered, “Will this actually happen by 2020?” But as I see more of True Mother’s resolution and love, I believe that it is possible if we have faith and go forth resolutely with one mind, moving together in unison in the same direction and focusing on True Mother’s intentions. If we show through our lives of living as blessed children of True Parents rather than practicing it only as a faith by routinely attending church, Vision 2020 can be achieved. Of course, we have many improvements to make, but if we proclaim that we will follow this path, and if we can manifest our mindset for the people of the world to see, we will be in better positions to reach out to the world.
